As a supplier of thermal coal to Delta Electricity's Vales Point power station the primary objective of Delta Coal is to operate its mining operations (Chain Valley Colliery and Mannering Colliery) in an efficient, safe and reliable manner whilst minimising impacts to the environment and the community.

We recognise there are adverse environmental impacts from mining and we focus on ensuring that all our mine sites operate to high environmental standards targeting zero incidents and licence breaches. Underlying our high standards is Delta Coal's Environment Policy
